NWU organizes Training on Office Management

North Western University (NWU) organized training on Office Management for the officers on Tuesday, June 5, 2024 at the seminar room of administrative building in Sonadanga.

The inaugural session started with welcome speech of Prof. Md. Tabibar Rahman, Registrar, NWU. Special guests of the program were Prof. Kanai Lal Sarkar, Treasurer, NWU and Prof. Khan Golam Quddus, Registrar in charge, Khulna University. Prof. Kanai Lal in his speech requested all the participants to ask questions and gather knowledge from the experience of the resource person. Prof. Khan Golam Quddus in his speech urged all to set a goal and to have a workplan to reach there. He also said that NWU has all the potential to be in the world ranking like the other private universities. He urged all to work together and to ensure cooperative work environment which will help to become a smart university and to lead toward smart Bangladesh.

The chief guest of the program was the Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Enayetul Babar. The Vice Chancellor in his speech said that the much you will interact with people, the more you will learn. He also said that there is no alternative of training. Training sessions give chance to meet experts and learn. NWU has a plan to organize training session regularly to enrich the knowledge level of the employee which will put forward the University.

The technical session was run by Prof. Dr. Md. Matiul Islam, Agrotechnology Discipline, and Additional Director, IQAC, Khulna University. Prof. Matiul had an insightful presentation on different aspects of office management. He started with the characteristics of officers in an office and ended with the etiquette or manner of an officer. At the end of the presentation, there was a question answer session. The program ended with certificate distribution among the participants and vote of thanks from Mr. Tajul Islam, Director, IQAC, NWU.
