Last Tuesday, the 27th batch of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program from North Western University organized an industrial tour to Bengal LPG Limited (a subsidiary of City Group), located in Mongla, Bagerhat. The tour was supervised by Jobayra Afsana, the department head and batch advisor, with Sk. Mahrufur Rahman, Assistant Professor among those in attendance. The students were welcomed by the accounts manager, Mr. Jamil Hossain, who briefed them about various aspects of the company. The Deputy Manager of Human Resources and Administration, Mr. Babul Akhtar, answered multiple questions posed by the students. Several officials from different company departments were also present during the event. The students gained hands-on experience with raw material procurement, production processes, quality control, marketing, packaging, and export strategies. Such tours not only enhance academia-industry relationships but also provide students with valuable insights into the current job market. The company further expressed its commitment to continuing similar opportunities for the department's students in the future.
