NWU Celebrated the Victory Day 2024

North Western University observed Victory Day 2024 with due solemnity and grandeur. On this occasion, floral tributes were offered at the Gallamari Memorial at 9:30 AM.

Subsequently, a vibrant event was held at the university auditorium at 10:00 AM to highlight the significance of the day.

The program included essay and quiz competitions for students, a discussion session, and a prayer ceremony seeking eternal peace and blessings for the martyrs of the Liberation War.

The event was presided over by the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Mr. Md. Inzamam-ul-Hossain. The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Sheikh Md. Enayetul Babur, graced the event as the chief guest. The Treasurer, Professor Kanai Lal Sarkar, attended as a special guest.

Additional speeches were delivered by Mr. Rabindranath Dutta, Director (Finance and Accounts), and Mr. Md. Asaduzzaman, Proctor. The event was attended by department heads, assistant proctors, faculty members, students, officials, and staff of the university.

At the end of the event, prizes were distributed among the winners of various competitions. The program was conducted by the university�s Public Relations Officer, Ms. Mina Ashiqur Rahman Dolon. The prayer ceremony was led by Maulana Abdul Momin Nomani.
