Cricket Tournament Concludes at North Western University

The two-day annual cricket tournament at North Western University concluded in a joyful atmosphere with a prize-giving ceremony. The closing event took place on Thursday at the C&B Colony field in the city, where awards were distributed for the two-day-long annual cricket tournament.

In the final match of the tournament, the CSE Department defeated the Civil Engineering Department by 4 wickets to become the champions.

In the afternoon, distinguished guests handed over trophies to the winners. Among them were Syed Hafizur Rahman, Member of the Board of Trustees of the University; Kanai Lal Sarkar, Treasurer; Md. Injamam-ul-Hossain, Dean(Acting) of the Faculty of Science and Technology; Farzana Akhter, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies and Dean(Honorary) of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Human Science; Dr. Shahida Khanam, Registrar(Current Charge);Shakil Ahmed, Proctor; along with department heads, assistant proctors, students, teachers, officers, and staff.
