Advocate Reception Ceremony Held at NWU

Advocate Reception-2026 was held at North Western University. The reception took place on Friday (22 May) at 10:00 AM at the university's administrative building located at Sonadanga Crossing in the city. Professor Kanai Lal Sarkar, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the university, was present as the chief guest of the ceremony. Attending as the chief guest, he handed over reception crests to around 70 former students of the Law Department who graduated from this university and are currently working as advocates and judges in various parts of the country.

Also present with him at the time were Dr. Md. Atikus Samad, Additional District and Sessions Judge; Dr. Md. Inzamam-Ul-Hosain, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology; Farzana Akhter, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies; Sheikh Mahrufur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences; Hasibul Hossain Suman, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law and Chair of the reception ceremony; Aroj Ali, Assistant Professor of the Law Department and Convenor of the reception ceremony; Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur Rahman, Registrar; Md. Anisur Rahman, Director of IQAC; along with departmental heads, heads of offices, teachers, students, officers, and staff members.
