NWU Celebrated the Victory Day 2022

North Western University (NWU) celebrated the Victory Day on December 16, 2022 by paying the utmost respect to the country�s most illustrious and heroic sons who were brutally assassinated by the Pakistani occupation forces and their collaborators in the nine-month long liberation war against Pakistan in 1971. NWU arranged a day-long program to observe the day in a befitting manner. On 16 December, the national flag was hoisted in front of all buildings at early in the morning.

To mark the day, a discussion meeting was held on 16 December 2022 at 10.30 am. Honorable Vice-Chancellor of NWU, Prof. Dr. Md. Bazlar Rahman was the Chief Guest while Dean of Science and Technology Faculty, Prof. Dr. Md. Nawsher Ali Moral was presided over the event.

Apart from this, Registrar, Muhammad Shariful Islam; Controller of Examinations, Prof. Dr. Naseem Ahamed; Proctor, Md. Inzamam-Ul-Hossain, Heads of the Departments; Assistant Proctors, Teachers, Students, Officers and Staffs took part in the discussion meeting. The guests distributed crests and certificates to the winners of the essay competition and poetry recitation organized by the university on the occasion of Great Victory Day.

The event was represented by the Public Relations Officer (In Charge), Mina Ossiqur Rahman Dolon. Dua was represented by Maolana Abdul Mumin Nomani.
