Office of the Chairman

According to the provision of the Private University Act-2010, Prof. Dr. Mohammod Sirajul Huq Chowdhury is the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees, North Western University and North Western University Trust. The Board of Trustees (BOT), the apex body that provides the overall policy guidelines and approves all decisions of the university syndicate and the annual budget of the university, is headed by its chairman.

Prof. Dr. Mohammod Sirajul Huq Chowdhury is one of the members of the Board of Trustees of Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology (ADUST). He was the Governor of Lions Club International, District 315, B3 in 2022–2023. Currently, He is the Chairman of Paromita Group. He is also the Vice Chairman of Lions Eye and General Hospital. He is associated with different universities in the United States of America (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK).

Under his proper guidance and able leadership, North Western University, a philanthropic organization, is heading towards progress. Revenue obtained from the university is being reinvested for the overall development of this institution and the enhancement of all types of academic facilities. For his diverse experience in leadership, the university has by this time made remarkable progress.
