Faculty of Science and Technology

Preface

The Faculty of Science and Technology is offering four-year (HSC Intake) and four-year (Diploma Intake) undergraduate degree programs such as CSE, EEE, CE and ECE. Both the four-year (HSC Intake) and four-year (Diploma Intake) undergraduate degree programs are spread over eight terms, with two terms per academic year. In the case of a four-year (Diploma Intake) undergraduate program, one term is exempt. The syllabus for this term includes those subjects that are studied in the four-year diploma program.

The faculty has already established its own laboratories in different development areas. The students also perform their software laboratories, such as computer programming and simulation-based sessions in the software laboratory.

The aim of this faculty is to impart the students with up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge of this particular branch of engineering. Consequently, the undergraduate courses offered to the students have been designed considering the courses offered at BUET, KUET, KU, DUET, and some foreign universities, keeping in view the ever-increasing horizons of the Faculty of Science and Technology.
