Message From The Chairman
It's a privilege to address you as one of the pioneering founders of North Western University (NWU), which is contributing to making efficient, innovative, and competent leaders for the public and private sectors of the country. Following the legacy with the aim of creating higher education opportunities for the students of Khulna and the southwestern region, North Western University started its glorious journey as the first ever UGC-approved private university established in Khulna in the Spring-2013 semester with 440 students and the forefront slogan, "Committed to World Class Education". At present, around 3000 students, 70 full-time faculty members, nearly half a hundred adjunct faculties, and more than a hundred officers and staff are running the activities of the university with utmost determination, diligence, and dedication. It is indeed a pleasure and pride that our university has already entered its 12th year of excellence and glory. The progress of NWU has been a matter of true honor and great pride to witness.
Since 2013, a large number of our graduates and postgraduates have been obtaining higher degrees from reputed foreign universities across the world and have been vitally contributing in respective professional fields through creativity, honesty, and excellence. As one of the private universities in the southwestern region of Bangladesh, our journey has not only prized accomplishments but challenges and uncertainty as well.
Together with our entire team of academic and administrative officials, I hope to be able to carry forward the tradition of continuous improvement. I firmly believe that our university will play a key role in the expansion and development of higher education in the southwestern region and prove to be a proud contributor to nurturing truly patriotic scholars.
